Draft Essay
My topic is: "If you were given the capability to travel back in time to any period in history, where would you head to and why?".
There will
be 4 paragraphs in my essay:
1)introduction
The humanity hasn’t invented the time machine,…, but let’s imagine that we have an opportunity to travel back in time…
2)describing the period
I would like to travel back to the 80s,…., it’s an interesting period to visit. The time of Soviet Period, another life, Olympic Games on Moscow… etc
3)the reasons for visiting
it’s the childhood of my parents, time with another life: lows, stereotypes, people, mostly without technology…. We know so much about it, but …
4)conclusion
All in all, it will be interesting to travel back to this period, but we can’t… So the only thing we have is to ask our parents about it.

ОтветитьУдалитьit's a really interesting topic, but you need to think about adding at leat one more point for discussion because the standard essay should contain 5 paragraphs. The reason goes back to the Greek philosopers who made public speeches and experimentally discovered that to persuade people in your point of view at least 3 arguments are necessary. It has to do with logic: it's difficult to persuade people in your opinion if you have just 2 arguments. So it'd be great if you added one more
